Default Getting the benefit of armor and weapons you want

Their is probably another thread about this and if so move or remove this thread.

I say Anet REALLY needs to incorporate Insignias into all prophe and factions armors as well and not just nightfall so people can have the armor they like for the looks as well as the stats they desire.

Also shield handles, focus cores, and inscriptions need to be introduced to all prophesies and factions items. Just like Nightfall people that enjoy the other game should be able to get the benefit of moding skinned weapons that they like for their own use. Getting a req 9 rare skin with a a 10% under 50 or something like that is a big drawback to trying to get them in the first place. If their a rare skin they should be capable of being modded, was not Crystalline Swords changed to this as well? In PvP atleast they were. Well don't get me started on my PvP complaints.

Add your comments to what I have just said. lol

In all honesty, I actually wish'd they would go back to the old prophecies style. Maybe keep the insignias so you can get a certain look with certain stats. But, have all insignias class specific. It kind of leaves TOO much open now that any class can have +HP armor or + energy armor or blessed armor or whatever. I like the fact that they introduced insignias, but I'd personally rather it still be all class specific. (Look at the prices of the class specific ones, they're like, 100 gold. because NO ONE uses them anymore. With the exception of maybe the pyromancer insignia for elementalist.)

I kind of like the old armors as they are. They are becoming rarer and rarer to see on toons, and really do look good. Most of them also have some sort of insignia already built in. A 1k set of armor from Consulate Docks can meet your modding needs, and you can wear your 15k stuff in towns.

I kinda miss the old armor system, that gave you a clue about what the opposing toon in PvP was protected against.
